NCC Reentry Plan 

Please take a minute and participate in a brief survey at mynorthway.church in order to help us develop the best balance between service times and venues.

Date:  May 17 

Services:  9 am & 11 am 

Venues:  Worship Center / With overflow in the downstairs multi-purpose room 

Contact Free Service (As much as possible)

Face Coverings:  Strongly recommended (w/ exception: Worship Team / Platform Host / Pastor) 

Parking team: 

  • Outside with initial welcome and instructions / staggered entering (if necessary)
  • Directing each person/family to specific point of entry based on venue availability/choice

Direct pathway from parking lot to venue seat: 

  • Discouraging prolonged stopping
  • Greeters at door openings / Ushers inside venue 
  • Clear directional instructions all along the pathway 

Facility cleaning:  

  • Our NCC cleaning staff will continue to give great care to present all common areas in a clean and safe way. 

Worship Center and seats: 

  • Sanitize leading up to, between, and after each service in both venues 
  • Seating will be every other row / At least three seats between family units 
  • Usher will assist each person/family to a seat filling capacity from front to back
  • Exiting at the conclusion of the service will be row by row. Please wait to be excused

Restrooms:  

  • Sanitized leading up to, between, and after each service
  • One person or family unit at a time 

Coffee & Panera Hospitality:

  • At this point and time, NCC will not be offering coffee in our Café, however we do encourage you to bring your own 
  • At this point and time, the NCC Café will not be serving any Panera pastries or bagels.  It is our hope to package some of the pastries and bagels and have them available to pick up at the exits as you leave the facility. 

Tithes and Offering:  

  • Strongly encourage on-line giving at mynorthway.church OR text the word “Give” to 570-919-1680 and you will be led through a simple process to give. 
  • There will be a giving box located in the back of the worship center OR giving basket on the table at the back of the multi-purpose room 

Children / Nursery ministry:  

  • Not at this point / Families will be encouraged to come and bring a device / earbuds to stream NCC children’s ministry material or other suitable content during the worship service 
  • If it becomes necessary, a quiet space will be made available for families requiring privacy 

Those who have experienced any of the following in the last week will be strongly encouraged to worship with us online:

  • Over a 100° temperature 
  • Cough or sore throat 
  • Contact with anyone confirmed to have had COVID 19 (In the last 14 days)
  • If a Pastor, Overseer, or NCC volunteer observes a person showing potential symptoms associated with the present virus, we may ask the symptomatic person to strongly consider worshipping with us on-line instead of joining us in person.  

NOTE:  Persons over 65 are considered vulnerable and at higher risk.  If they choose to attend in-person gatherings we ask them to take extreme caution.  Otherwise we invite them to worship with us on-line.
